Nothing much to write about this game besides Sacco needs to be fired. Terrible game, the avs outshoot the Canucks but played awful defensively and go from a 2-0 score to 6-0 in 4 awful minutes in the 3rd. The avs carried momemtum into the 3rd besides being down 2-0, took some penalties but were able to kill them off (including a 5 minute major in the first) but when it got to 4 on 4 the avs let up 2 goals in a minute and 2 goals in the next 3 minutes after that. Injuries played a big part in this game, with Luongo and Booth leaving for Vancouver, Stastny already out for the avs and Wilson left while Porter was kicked out. Overall just a terrible showing, one that deserves to lose Sacco's job. Simply put there is no positives about this game, the avs are terrible against their division and its time to make a change. Going into this game with a 3 game winning streak, the avs just left Semyon Varlamov out to dry and its on Sacco who didn't get his players going from puck drop. Fire Sacco and hire Carlyle before he gets signed by someone else, disgusting game.
No 3 Stars tonight because every single player played equally bad.
Misplay of the Game - 4 goals in 4 minutes including 2 on a 4-on-4, just a terrible 3rd period. The avs have been outscored 9-0 in 2 games against the canucks, and need change now
Game #29 - The avs look to rebound off of their worst game of the season, when they meet Calgary in the first of a back-to-back on Thursday night (@9pm).
