Another tough, rough and close game between these two teams but the Wild got the best of the avs again. The avs out the wild 37-21, but couldn't beat Backstrom as he was great all night. The avs also got good goaltending from J.S Giguere, as he let in 1 goal that he couldnt see while also making a sensational save for perhaps his best of the year. As Nick Johnson came in on him, he crashed into the net and the puck sat there for Cal Clutterbuck, who had the open net. Giguere stuck the glove at the crossbar, and denied him from scoring. However the avs couldn't get anything by Backstrom, and they lost the game
