Game #26 - Minnesota 5, Colorado 3

I missed this game, so I only saw highlights. But once again the Avs just played terrible, especially in the 2nd period which was the problem vs the Oilers as well. The Avs have taken a serious spiral after back-to-back impressive wins over the Hawks and Sharks, and are trending towards a high draft pick instead of the playoffs. Minnesota goals were scor ed by Torrey Mitchell, Devin Setoguchi, Jonas Brodin, and Mikko Koivu scored twice while PA Parenteau scored twice for the Avs as well as Gabriel Landeskog. The Wild outshot the Avs 39-32, the Avs won 37 of 61 faceoffs, Wild had 17 hits to the Avs 15 and the Avs had 20 blocked shots to the Wild's 14

Three Stars:
3. PA Parenteau - scored 2 goals for the Avs, and was there best player
2. Ryan Suter - logged a game-high 24:26 of icetime and got 3 assists, very strong game
1. Mikko Koivu - the Wild captain scored the last 2 goals for the Wild, the game-winning goal and the empty-netter

Game #27 - The Avs head home for a rematch against the Wild, where they play a day game on Saturday (@3pm)
